As an actress AND director you would think that it wouldn't be too difficult to do both in the same film! Well... for me I find it rather daunting. My actress brain wants and needs to be "vulnerable" and always "in the moment", surprised by what may happen next. As a director I am looking at the whole picture from point A to point B. Plus as a professional editor, my brain starts to cut the scenes in my head, looking for the best takes, angles and more! So it feels like both sides of my brain are working hard. Sometimes too hard to do any one job exactly right. So I rely on my 2nd Unit director and Assistant Directors. In Seance Games I was fortunate to have 2nd Unit Director and Stunt Coordinator Mark Grove! In the above photo, Mark is working with me (in the red wig) and Eric Roberts, guiding us through the scene and stunts that are to be incorporated! More to chat about soon!!!

Amazon has EVERYTHING it seems! No wonder Amazon has taken over the world.... Probably "literally". When renting items for the Seance Games film shoot, we discovered that often the Movie Props or Set Dressing Rentals from established industry Movie Rental houses here in Los Angeles, charged more to rent something than one could BUY it on Amazon! Yikes! So we bought it! After filming we will have a small inventory of interesting, practical, and/or odd items that will need to be sold or donated. We are renting certain items that cannot be found anywhere, unless you live in the land of make-believe. And since that is where we will be living... the rental houses prevail!
